Monday, August 3 - The 2009-2010 Student Handbook is now posted. Please click on the link to the left and read the document carefully as there have been some changes/additions. The Handbook Agreement Form found on the last page of the handbook must be signed by both parent and student and is due by August 7 for all marching band members, and the first day of school for all non-marchers. Tuesday, August 4 - Band Booster meeting, 7:30PM, band room. Wednesday, August 5 - Remember to print and complete the Medical Release Form (for a 24-hour period) and turn it in by August 7! Thursday, August 6 - Marching Band rehearsals: 2:00-4:30PM for all new members, section leaders and percussion; 5:30-8:30PM
ALL MEMBERS. Friday, August 7 - Marching Band rehearsals: 2:00-4:30PM for all new members, section leaders and percussion; 5:30-8:30PM ALL MEMBERS. Century Resources Fundraiser will continue online for the entire school year! The ONLINE STORE (www.centuryresources.com) may be used to raise funds for individual student accounts. Click on the red SHOP NOW! button and enter customer number 31723. A Perrysburg HS Band Boosters link will appear. Click on the link to enter the site and
orders can be placed for a specific student by entering his/her name and grade in the designated spaces. All online orders are delivered directly to the customer who pays directly online, so this is the easiest way to raise money! Students can log in to enter e-mail addresses for friends and relatives to have them receive an e-mail from Century Resources about the fundraiser. The student doesn't even have to type the e-mail message - it will be sent from your e-mail address by Century Resources!
TAG DAY was a HUGE success!! Thank you to the Perrysburg Community for your generous donations! After the official count, we raised a total of $7,897.36! A BIG thanks to Sue & Tim Fry who coordinated the event. We are currently looking for someone to coordinate an Alumni Band Council to help set up alumni night and other events each year! We are looking for motivated alumni members to serve on an alumni board and who would like to help research current contact information for past PHS band members. Ideally, we would like someone to serve as President, and have a representative from each decade. If you would like to help research e-mails and addresses for former PHS Band members and help get the information out each year about the Alumni Band night, please e-mail Mr. Schleuter.
