LEARNING TRACKS

Set-up of the Learning Tracks

Each song listed in our repertoire for this year will have multiple tracks listed underneath it.  There might be one or more full songs, listed by performer, as well as a track for each part.  The learning track files are in mp3 format and compatable with most audio programs on computers.  You might want to listen to the full performance of the song first, to get a feel for the piece.  After you’ve heard the song, open the track that lists your voice part (or whatever part you are singing for that particular piece.)  Your own voice part has been separated out from the others by speaker.  Your voice part is in the right speaker, while all other parts are in the left speaker.

If you put the file onto a CD or Mp3 Player, unless you have headphones that can shut off one ear, I suggest getting a pair of earphones that do not have a headband so that you can put one speaker in your ear at a time.

PLEASE NOTE!  These learning tracks are not for dynamics, inflection, other musical nuances, or even tempo.  These will be determined in class when you are singing as a choir!!
