Monday, March 8 - GREAT job in NYC Wind Ensemble! The band saw the sights and sounds of NYC, gave an inspired performance in Alice Tully Hall - Lincoln Center and received a superior rating! Tuesday, March 9 - Band Booster meeting - 7:30PM, band room. Wednesday, March 10 - Max & Erma's Fundraiser for PHS Bands. Print the flier above and share it with friends! You must bring the flier with you and present it to your server for the bands to receive 20% of your total bill. Thursday, March 11 - The 2010-2011 tentative calendar of events is posted above. Check it out! Friday, March 12 - OMEA Large Group Contest, Sylvania Southview HS CLICK HERE for the OMEA Large Group Contest schedule for Friday, March 12. Symphonic Band and Concert Band members need to bring to school this morning their uniform in their garment bag. Hang them on the racks in the practice room hallway.

We are currently looking for someone to coordinate an Alumni Band Council to help set up alumni night and other events each year! We are looking for motivated alumni members to serve on an alumni board and who would like to help research current contact information for past PHS band members. Ideally, we would like someone to serve as President, and have a representative from each decade. If you would like to help research e-mails and addresses for former PHS Band members and help get the information out each year about the Alumni Band night, please e-mail Mr. Schleuter.
