* PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE VACATIONS DURING BAND CAMP WEEK!! The evening rehearsals on August 5, 6, 17, 18 and 19 are also considered part of the band camp schedule and are required as part of the marching band class. Any conflicts with other PHS activities will be handled on an individual basis.
All rehearsals and performances are mandatory. As a marching band, we do not have any "bench" players, so everyone must be present for successful rehearsals and performances. Even one person missing creates a "hole" and causes other members to not be as successful; therefore, there will be few excused absences. Be sure to read the Grading for Marching Band section in the Student Handbook for all policies. Plan ahead and accept your responsibility to the group!
