Dear Parents,

Solo & Ensemble will be held on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010, and we will need help stocking our concession stand for the day.  This event will bring in students and parents from 33 high schools, with an estimate of 1,400-1,600 student performers!  Please read carefully the list of donations being asked from each instrument section and bring these items in by Friday, January 15.  Concessions for the day are our biggest profit-maker for the band boosters for this event so we greatly appreciate your donation!

We will also need certain items listed below and many parent volunteers to help during the day to make everything run smoothly.

Can you loan:
* a typewriter
* a coffee maker (30 cup or more)
* a crock pot
*Please label clearly with your name on it

MANY parents are needed to volunteer in various areas the day of the event!  Parent help is most needed in the library, the main office to help type ratings on certificates, the concession stand, and to help prepare and serve the adjudicator and director lunch.  It’s NOT difficult and is fun working with and meeting other band parents.   PLEASE e-mail Mary Lauback at mlauback@bex.net to volunteer or confirm for one of the following shifts that day:

7:30 – 10:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
